August 19, 2012|49 Comments »

Today was a big day in our house. My baby boy turned six! Isn’t he precious? I may be a little biased…

Most of the time the cookies around my house are off limits, but on birthdays my kiddos run the show. My little paleontologist picked dinosaur cookies, of course!

Problem is, I’m not really fond of my “real” dinosaur cutters. They are complicated and a little hard to figure out. So, I came up with alternative designs using these cutters. Would you have guessed Caleb’s dinosaur cookies came from these cutters?

Can you match the cookie to the cutter?

I made it easy on ya.

  1. a {spider web}
  2. b {Karen’s baby cutter}
  3. c {egg}
  4. g {ice cream cone}
  5. d {stocking}
  6. e {heart}
  7. f {small egg}

Ever wonder how a dinosaur eats a cookie? Caleb was glad to demonstrate!

I guess momma did good!

If you don’t love a cutter, don’t be afraid to rethink it. you may surprise yourself

Since were having a party, two of my closest friends Glory, of Glorious Treats, and Lisa, The Bearfoot Baker made special dino-themed treats for Caleb too.

Be sure to check out Glory’s Dirt, Worms, and Dinosaur Desserts and Lisa’s Dinosaur Cookies for Caleb. It means the world to have friends that love my kiddo as much as I do!

I’m also loving Sue’s Baby Dinosaur cookies. You should check them out!

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!
