We can't thank you all enough for contributing to Scarlett's surgery to repair her cranial cruciate ligament! Every single donation has a big impact on Scarlett's medical care. ❤️We are happy to report that she had her surgery last week and that her recovery is going really well! This picture was taken shortly after her surgery while she was still on bed rest and coming out of sedation. 🙂 She is such a sweet girl and our vet, Dr. Erin, enjoyed staying close to Scarlett to make her feel as comfortable as possible.Since Scarlett is on the road to recovery, we are really hoping to reach and maybe even surpass our fundraising goal of $2,000 to support any after care this beautiful girl may need. No donation is too small, and we know that seeing Scarlett run around in elation because she is no longer in pain will be priceless! Donate here: https://lnkd.in/gacGKE5s or visit https://lnkd.in/gebBbCkF for make a donation for Scarlett.Thank you so much for supporting Scarlett and sharing her story! ❤️#rescuedogsofinstagram #medicaldog #seniordogs #rescuedogs #adoptdontshop

It's a HAPPY TAIL for our royal Dutchess! 👑🥰Beauty queen Dutchess came to us in the fall of 2023 from Hitchco*ck Road Animal Services after being found as a stray. She was ready to hold court with potential adopters, and they came from far and wide to pay their respects.Until Dutchess found her match, she was enjoying life with her foster mom, Gina, who ensured that her royal highness had everything her heart desired. She slept, she lounged, she waddled and she ate treats, but still, Gina managed to help Dutchess lose a couple of extra pounds. Thank you for taking such good care of Dutchess, Gina! When it was finally time for Dutchess to meet the adopter of her dreams, it was love at first sight. Jere and Dutchess cozied up together to try out that sweet snuggle time and got comfy very quickly. Now, Dutchess and Jere are enjoying life together. We're sure Dutchess has already found her favorite sunny spot for a nap and explored the neighborhood.Clap your paws for these cuties! We are so happy for Jere and Dutchess.#happytails #gotchaday #adopted #seniordogsrule #seniordogsrock #happy #fosterkeeper

The 3-3-3 rule is a guideline for transitioning a rescue dog into its new home and helping it to settle in.
